Project 4! The Volvelle.
I really liked creating this, until it came time to put it together! I had a lot of trouble getting it to line up which turned out to be a centering problem. Once that was fixed all was good and it worked fine and I enjoyed putting it together.
I chose zombies because I’m a horror fanatic really, and I found that the variety was interesting. I used some terminology that is fairly standard in the zombie world, but I also tried to create my own. And all the drawings, the bodies and eyes were done by me, I didn’t use any references so those were completely mine.
I don’t usually like Illustrator, and I still don’t, but I did like the grunge effect that some of the brushes made, as well as the blood spatters. I haven’t been able to do anything like that in Photoshop.
As you can see, printing was not kind to my colouring.
Final Assignment attempt #2
Bottom image is the original picture.
The changes I made to the image on the top left was upping the contrast and clarity in camera raw, as well as the levels. The image on the right I did the same thing but after I was finished the drawing I added 2 new layers on top, 1 yellow, 1 blue, and changed the blending modes to multiply for yellow and lighten for blue.
I couldn’t really choose between either XD
